After midnight, it’s easy to lose all track of time, or lose it all together.
This poster was the last one in the Decorum series (aside from the others that disappeared). I don’t think it’s quite right as far as the composition, but I do like the Dali-style clock, and the stylized face. One thing that seems remarkable to me is that the clock evokes “after hours” on lots of different levels, but for the life of me, I can’t remember having that particular thought. The fact that the clock is also a moon underscores it all, eh? Moon = night, moon = lunacy, etc, etc. I’m sure any sort of graphical design I do violates all kinds of principles, but I like ‘em anyway in a way I’d like someone else’s stuff. In other words, it doesn’t even seem as if I actually did them. Which is always a good thing in my book.
